Add a highlights database to Notion
Updated
If you're connected to Notion on Z Plan, you can add a database that keeps one highlight per row, separate from your books database.
- Sort by Kindle location, filter across books, and organize with tags
- Your books database stays as it is, and export to book pages continues as before
- Your existing highlights are exported too
How to add it
- Open the Notion connection page on the web with the button below (sign-in required)
- Under "Add a highlights database", press "Add"
- If asked where to put it, open the Notion page you want, choose "Copy link" from "•••" at the top right, and paste it
- Export starts. Depending on how many highlights you have, it can take from tens of minutes to a few hours, and it continues even if you close the page
Not connected to Notion yet? You can connect on the same page. Connecting creates your books database.
